My First Son First Day in School
How fast time flies. We wake up everyday thinking of what errands to do. Being busy means work, work, work, work either in the office and in the house. We sometimes tend to forget appreciating simple but important things. For instance, my son Earl will be attending his first school tomorrow, I did not realize that this can be so fast. I was always focusing on keeping a balance between work and children but simple things like these are worth stopping by for a while and cherishing the moment. Another good thing which I could have forgone without noticing is my baby's age-he turned 10 months last Thursday.
As I was writing on this post, I remembered its been two months since the last post and I just missed writing my thoughts. I always write but all articles are for my job. Its hard to keep the things going on around smoothly without money and I believe that is the greatest motivator for moms like me. I look forward to the day when I just have to sit, relax and watch my kids grow. But that can't be now, perhaps in three more years. I just hope that my kids will not grow up fast, at least mentally.

I am a Silent Fan of Francis M
The sudden demised of the "King of Rap" Francis "Kiko" Magalona has brought shock to everyone including me as a fan. It was a sad news indeed for me and my husband. I was not aware of it until my sister told me yesterday that Vic Sotto had announced that Francis M. had passed away. I thought that he is recovering and he had gotten better. I just hope that his family will keep the strength and bond in this very sad moment in their lives. Condolences!

A New Job
Cheers! I just got hired as Online Marketing Professor!
Several days ago I came across a site that offers online tutorial and I learned that they are looking for MBA Professor to teach online business subjects to college students. I thought it will be a good job for me since I am always online while managing my computer shop business plus the fact that I miss teaching too. So I decided to send an email, submit my resume' and apply for the job.
After two days the President, Mr Seiichi Hosotani replied to my email telling me that I am considered for the post but they still have to evaluate my performance. He required me to prepare a Marketing Plan for a "Karaoke System Business in India" giving only some few information and a 3-5 days deadline. It was so difficult for me to do it because I was lurked by the mood brought by the holiday season. But I know in my mind that I really want to get the job so I have to put extra effort. Still, I procastinate the first three days and worked 24 hours on the last two days just to finish it off. With all efforts, I did finish on time but I was worried it will not meet the quality they are expecting to see on my paper because it is a rush work.
I was waiting for their response until today when just now, I received their email congratulating me that I qualify for the job and that my paper is organized and well written. I am just so happy! Mr. Hosotani said a manager will be in contact with me tomorrow to discuss about the contract and other things I need to know about the job. I hope this job brings out the best in me.
Well, we will see. Thank God.

We Got 9 New Lab Puppies
Yesterday morning, we were surprised by our dog Spankee; she gave birth to ten little new puppies. They are so cute and so black just like their mom. Sadly, one puppy is weak and blue she did not survive the cold weather and died. But the nine other puppies look healthy and strong, I hope they all survive.
Spankee was our baby when we were not yet planning a child. She is actually the eldest among our children (lol) so today I just become a "grandma", hihihi.

Web or sex? I think I would go for Web too (lol)
I come across a very funny headline in Yahoo and I can't ignore blogging about it. The article states a result of a survey on whether women would go for web or sex. The funny thing is, nearly one out of two women would rather give up sex for two weeks than go without the Internet, according to a survey released Monday.
The rest of the results are as follow:
- Far fewer men would choose to go without sex, according to the survey of 2,119 adults carried out by the online research firm Harris Interactive and sponsored by Intel Corp., the world's biggest computer chip maker.
- Forty-six percent of the women polled said they would rather go without sex for two weeks than give up access to the Internet for the same period of time, according to the survey, "Internet Reliance in Today's Economy."
- Only 30 percent of men said they would rather forgo intimate relations than cyber ones.
- Ninety-five percent of those surveyed said it is "very important, important or somewhat important" to be able to access the Internet.
- Sixty-five percent of those surveyed rated Internet access above other discretionary spending items such as cable television subscriptions (39 percent), dining out (20 percent), shopping for clothes (18 percent) or a health club membership (10 percent).
- Sixty-one percent of the women surveyed said they would rather give up watching television for two weeks than give up access to the Internet for one week.
Harris Interactive and Intel said the survey was conducted November 18-20. They did not provide a margin of error for the results.
I think I would also go for web, why? secret!
We Are Sisters, We Are Friends
It is fun to have sisters. In my case, I have four loving sissies; Ate Emily, Ate Minyang, Ate Dess and Neneng (the youngest). The two oldest; Ate Ems and Ate Minyang were a generation ahead of Ate dess and I, they were already adults when we were born, they took care of me. I still remember they make fun of us, one day they will curl my hair, the other day they will put bright red nail polish on my nails. I was a flower girl when Ate Em was married in 1980. I was just three years old.
When Ate Minyang got married to Kuya Herbert (an austrian) she decided to migrate in Austria, she promised to buy me a walking doll. Unfortunately she returned to the Philippines after 8 years bringing my walking doll but I was no longer playing with dolls, (chocolates will do, yum!).
Ate Dess and I grew up fighting a lot, why? she would get all the attention from Nanay (I am a father's pet). Everytime Nanay would go out shopping she always wanted to come along, I stayed in the house (murmuring). When she got married early I was happy (lol), It's now my turn to become Nanay's apple of the eyes (",). But that was just an immature blurt, nowadays we just laugh about how stupid I was, hahaha.
The youngest and the most "kulit" is Tesan, we call her Neneng or sometimes "Nganga".(meaning big mouth, lol) She cries a lot when she was a baby. I watched her grow into a pretty, charming and smart lady (ehem, where is my chocolate?). I must admit that sometimes I get irritated with her acting frantics but I really love this "kid".
I am very happy that I have four unique women who I can call sissies!
